100th Year Anniversary Celebration

 The Sodus Point Fire Department is gearing up for 2010. We will be celebrating our 100 years of service to the Village of Sodus Point, the Waters of the Great Sodus Bay, Lake Ontario and the neighboring Communities. 

Saturday, May 1: FD Open House & Firemen’s Parade 12:00 noon. The parade will start at the east end of Greig St. & proceed to the Fire Hall.

Sunday, May 9: Mother’s Day Chicken B-B-Q 12:00 noon .

Saturday, June 5: Pot-of-Gold Fundraiser & Steak Dinner. Doors open at 3:00 pm. Dinners served 5:00 – 7:00 pm. Pot-of-Gold drawings will be held after dinners are served.

Saturday, June 19: Waterball Tournament 12 noon

Friday, Saturday & Sunday, July 2, 3 & 4: Civil War Reenactment in Willow Park, Bay St., Sodus Point NY

Saturday, July 17: Sink-a-Boat Tournament 9:00 am. In the Bay, Wickham Blvd., Sodus Point NY.

3 day – 100th Year Anniversary Celebration:

This weekend will feature musical entertainment, kids games & events, food & craft booths, refreshments & games of chance.

Friday, August 6: Grounds open at 5:00 pm, Firemen’s Parade 7:00 pm

Saturday, August 7: Grounds open at 12:00 noon. Entertainment by Smokin’ Worm 7:00 – 11:00 pm.

Sunday, August 8: Grounds open at 12:00 noon. Entertainment by Smokin’ Worm & a special guest 2:00 – 6:00 pm.

Saturday, September 4: Sodus Point’s 1st Annual Flotilla

All events to be held at the Fire Hall, Bay Street, Sodus Point NY, unless specified otherwise.
