September 11th Tribute and Chicken BBQ

Time: 12:00 to 4:30 P.M.

It’s been 10 years since the attack on the World Trade Center.

Nearly 3,000 victims and the 19 hijackers died in the September 11 attacks. Among the 2,753 victims who died in the attacks on the World Trade Center were 343 firefighters and 60 police officers from New York City and the Port Authority, and 8 private emergency medical technicians and paramedics.

Another 184 people were killed in the attack on the Pentagon.

The Sodus Point Volunteer Firemen were also called to assist with the SAR.

Join us for our annual Open House on September 11, 2011. We will have a special ceremony to honor the brave men and women who perished.

Old Fashioned Baseball Game and Barbeque on Saturday, July 23 from 3:30 – 10:00.

The Sodus Point Fire Department will be playing the Genesee Country Village Best Nine in Sodus Point’s first Old Fashion Baseball game.

The game is being held along with a day of events sponsored by the Sodus Point Neighborhood Association and in conjuction with the re- dedication of Oscar Fuerst Field.
